Assist seniors with funding for a variety of emergency needs
Collaborate with City of Henderson on special events
Coordinate supplies for craft projects and other groups that provide services to the community and Meals on Wheels homebound seniors
Support Henderson Libraries outreach efforts for homebound seniors
Operate a Mini-Mart, a non-profit grocery store at the Heritage Park Senior Facility that serves over 150 seniors a week
Provide scholarship funds to those who qualify, enabling them to participate in various City of Henderson programs, events and excursions
The Henderson Seniors’ Auxiliary sponsors:
- Monthly birthday party at the Heritage Park Senior Facility
- Bingo
- Special events; e.g., Heritage Festival
- Volunteer appreciation events
